Skateboard art auction for Jake’s Skate Park

Kate Norris

Kate Norris has a BA from Stanford University and a MFA from the School of Visual Arts in New York City. She has lived in San Francisco, eastern Washington State, New York City, Tampa and Baltimore. Before moving to New York for graduate school, Norris spent a year traveling throughout South East Asia. While traveling in India, she first discovered miniature Persian paintings, which continue to inspire her work, impacting color, compositions and pattern details. Norris’ work has been shown in New York, San Francisco, Tampa, and Baltimore. She lives in Baltimore and teaches art in Baltimore County Public Schools.
